Men and women have different minds: should we teach children in school together?

Men and women have different minds: should we teach children in school together?

If we believe that men and women have different minds, do we actually want to teach both of them together in the same classroom? This question has troubled parents and educators since the first school was established in ancient Greece, and it’s still being asked today. In this blog post, I’ll take you through some of the arguments that have been made, and show you why there’s no easy answer to this question, though most experts do agree on one thing: boys and girls should be taught by teachers who understand their unique approaches to learning.

Introduction

The truth of the matter is that men and women are fundamentally different. Men think differently than woman, so it makes sense for them to go off to one side of the room, while the females go to the other. That way, each group can learn how to best communicate with their respective gender.

The problem with this is that it marginalizes half of the population from a very early age. Furthermore, what happens when these girls grow up and want to work alongside those males they were taught not to be like? It will be much more difficult because they were not given the skills necessary to connect with those on the opposite side.

The male brain vs. the female brain

The male brain is more logical and analytical, while the female brain is more intuitive. Women also tend to be better at multitasking than men. For these reasons, some people argue that it's not a good idea to mix the genders when teaching kids - it could confuse them or make them less confident about their abilities. But others say that boys are often reluctant to ask for help from a teacher, whereas girls don't hesitate to raise their hands. So teachers might need to work harder with boys in class if they're alone. It's an interesting debate! What do you think?

Should we teach children of both sexes in school together?

What does your experience tell you about whether this would work well or not?

Should we teach children in school together?

Whether or not you believe that men and women have different minds, most would agree that they process information differently. This is because there are differences between the way their brains are wired, as well as a difference in hormones. These differences can lead to them having differing interests and strengths, which will impact how they learn. For example, while men excel at spatial tasks such as navigating directions or map reading, women usually do better with verbal tasks such as problem solving or creative writing. There are also structural differences. Men’s brains tend to be ten percent larger than women’s and have more white matter tissue; this allows for faster processing of information. Women on the other hand tend to have more grey matter, which provides for better processing of memory and emotions. When it comes to learning these differences must be taken into consideration when educating children. It may make sense to put boys and girls in separate classes to allow teachers to focus on the teaching methods best suited for each sex. Or, if schools were co-educational, it could make sense to teach boys and girls separately depending on subject. Doing so might help both genders reach their full potential without struggling against one another academically.

Pros and cons of teaching children in school together

People who advocate for co-education believe that because men and women have different minds, it is important to teach them together so they can learn how to understand one another. In addition, some people think that single-sex classes are not as effective as co-educational classes. They argue that without the opposite sex to compare themselves to, girls may see a lack of need for effort or feel too confident about their abilities. However, others argue that there is less pressure on boys when girls are around, meaning the males might perform better. A lot of parents also prefer their children go to an all-boys or all-girls school because of the social aspect. For example, many Muslim families send their daughters to all-girls schools where they will be able to wear hijabs and interact with other females. On the other hand, many schools have become mixed gender because it is cheaper than creating two separate sets of classrooms (especially if the school's capacity has increased). Some advocates for co-education say that this doesn't create any issues. Others say that the divide between genders becomes too large over time and more difficult to bridge, as well as sometimes leading to sexual harassment among peers. Parents who want their child to attend an all-girls or all-boys school say these problems are exacerbated by having kids from both genders in one space.

In summary, there is no clear answer here - both sides have strong arguments which would make sense depending on your personal views and circumstances.

Conclusion

Given the differences between men and women, it is not advisable to mix them into the same classroom. For example, a male teacher would be a better fit for a male student who needs discipline than a female teacher because males are seen as more authoritative figures. Female teachers, on the other hand, may be preferred for teaching female students about things such as hygiene or periods. Moreover, gender roles are learned through imitation. If you can't see the difference between genders, how can you learn which behavior is appropriate for your gender?

The Horrific Reality of How Propaganda Was Used to Kill People in Rwanda and Nazi Germany

Propaganda has been used in the worst ways possible since it was first conceived, and continues to be used today in various forms of manipulation to further the purposes of whoever wishes to use it for their gain at the expense of others. But just what does propaganda do? How does it work? How does it kill? In this article, we’ll cover how propaganda has been used to kill people in Rwanda and Nazi Germany, and what we can learn from this grim history lesson that we can apply toward our own lives.

Why are dictators so successful at killing people?

Dictators are so successful at killing people because they use propaganda to manipulate their subjects. It is a form of brainwashing that convinces people that the dictator is always right, so they don't think twice about carrying out the dictator's orders, even if it means hurting themselves or others. In Rwanda, Hutus used propaganda to convince Tutsis that they were cockroaches and insects so Tutsis had no choice but to flee or be killed. In Nazi Germany, Jews were persuaded by Hitler's hate speech that Jews were the cause of all the world's problems and should therefore be exterminated. They were also convinced by speeches like this one: Do you want total war? Do you want mass murder? which showed how terrible life would be for them under Jewish domination. The Nazis also spread rumors to incite hatred between different groups such as spreading the idea that Jews had ritualistically slaughtered Gentiles in Poland with impunity; these rumors caused tension among those living near each other, leading to more violence.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

Propaganda is a powerful weapon that can be used for good or bad intentions. It's been used for centuries, but has only recently become more advanced and dangerous with the advent of social media. For example, genocide was committed by different groups against other groups in both Rwanda and Nazi Germany. In Rwanda, propaganda was created by Hutus to convince the public that Tutsis were the enemy. The Hutus then turned on their neighbors with machetes and clubs which resulted in 800,000 deaths over 100 days. In Nazi Germany, Joseph Goebbels' Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda had total control over what Germans saw. Hitler himself would tell his ministers how he wanted things portrayed, such as the Jews being lazy when it came to work. He felt this portrayal would support his idea that they needed to be exterminated since they could not contribute positively to society. They showed posters at movies depicting Jews as rats who should be eradicated. They also published children's books where people killed rats and frogs that symbolized Jews while singing songs like Kill All the Rats. Some Holocaust survivors have written books about these events in an attempt to warn future generations about the dangers of propaganda.

Media Control

A significant factor in the Rwandan genocide was the use of media control by Hutu extremists. They used radio broadcasts, newspapers, and other outlets to spread their racist propaganda that dehumanized Tutsis. This helped them convince people that Tutsis were worthy targets for violence because they were supposedly planning a genocide against Hutus. The victims did not have any way to fight back or defend themselves from the messages being broadcasted about them. It made it easy for an angry mob to justify killing an innocent person. It is important to recognize how easy it is to manipulate the masses with false information and exaggerated claims. In Nazi Germany, propaganda was so effective at brainwashing people into thinking certain groups should be eliminated (Jews) that Hitler's plan could not have been carried out without it. Today there are many parallels between what happened in these two countries and some populations around the world are still living in fear due to sensationalist news reports. Sensationalism has become rampant in the Western media when it comes to reporting on events like terrorism. Nowadays we see headlines all over the internet telling us ISIS may infiltrate our borders, Muslim immigrants want to conquer Europe, and Donald Trump wants to ban all Muslims from entering America which creates fear and anxiety. While all three of these headlines contain some truth behind them, they are only one-sided stories that often exaggerate those truths while neglecting others completely.

How Hitler rose to power through effective propaganda

Hitler was a master at using propaganda to control the masses. He knew that if he could make his people believe their country was under attack, they would be willing to do anything for him. He used propaganda because it enabled him to create an alternate reality for Germans, one where Jews were the enemy. As soon as Hitler became chancellor, he seized full control of the media, ordering all newspapers to publish only what he wanted them too. He took away freedom of speech by removing any opposition to his ideas, making anyone who spoke out against him subject to arrest. All teachers had to pass a test proving they were Nazis before being allowed back into school. The Nazis also invaded neighboring countries like Czechoslovakia, Austria and Poland. They started World War II with their invasion of Poland on September 1st 1939. To those watching from outside of Germany, it seemed like there was no end in sight. After seven years of terrible war, Hitler committed suicide with his wife Eva Braun on April 30th 1945. His body is still unaccounted for and many speculate whether or not he is still alive. Meanwhile, Hitler's legacy lives on through the awful effects of his influence: Holocaust Memorial Day commemorates Holocaust victims; Anne Frank published her diary while in hiding; Polish Resistance member Witold Pilecki smuggled himself into Auschwitz three times to document its horrors; former concentration camp prisoner Elie Wiesel wrote Night which tells about a young Jewish boy's life during WWII.

Comparing the Holocaust with Rwanda Genocide

Both the Holocaust and the Rwandan Genocide were horrific, awful events that should never have happened. But what set these two genocides apart is the use of propaganda by their leaders to get people on board with killing other human beings. In Nazi Germany, Hitler used propaganda such as radio broadcasts to tell citizens that Jews were dangerous enemies who needed to be eliminated. In Rwanda, Hutu officials convinced the public that a Tutsi victory would be catastrophic for the Hutus. They then encouraged massacres where close to 1 million Tutsis were killed between April and July 1994. In both cases, propaganda was used as an effective tool to kill innocent civilians. The difference lies not just in the methods but also in how effective each type of propaganda proved to be. While it’s impossible to know exactly how many lives were saved because of these efforts, it’s certain that they helped save many lives and could help save even more in the future if we make sure we don’t forget what happened there. I believe that any amount of prevention is worth trying if it might mean saving one life. It's hard to imagine anyone who wouldn't want to do anything they can to prevent this from happening again. And thankfully, this tragedy has been used as motivation for some incredible initiatives to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. For example, One World Social Justice (OWJ) has been educating young Rwandans about genocide through classroom discussions. OWJ helps students understand the historical context of why genocide occurred so that they won't fall prey to propaganda themselves when faced with similar situations in the future.

The Rwandan Genocide was planned months ahead

In April 1994, the Rwandan government began a radio campaign that identified specific groups as enemies of the state. These groups were called inyenzi or cockroaches. In May 1994, there was a meeting in which senior government officials discussed how people should be killed. On April 6, 1994, President Habyarimana's plane was shot down near Kigali Airport killing him and everyone on board. While this event is often cited as marking the beginning of the genocide, it was actually one element of an ongoing conflict between Hutus and Tutsis. As some have pointed out, it would have been virtually impossible for genocide to have been planned so soon after the shooting down of Habyarimana's airplane. However, many scholars believe that military officers already had such plans long before then. The United Nations created the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) with judges from around the world who ruled guilty or not guilty on crimes committed during the genocide. They found eleven high-ranking members of the MRND party guilty of being involved in creating a plan to exterminate all Tutsis, though they were only responsible for killing 2% of those who died during this time period. After World War II, Adolf Hitler used propaganda to promote the idea that Jews were the enemy of Germans. He told his people that Jews wanted to take over their country, eliminate Christianity and enslave them. Using posters and rallies, he convinced them Jews are dangerous people who must be eliminated for the good of society at large. Jews became less than human in their eyes; anyone could do anything against them without remorse because they believed these people weren't worthy enough to live.

The Dark Side of the LGBTQ Community: How Pedophilia Increases Within Its Ranks

The Dark Side of the LGBTQ Community: How Pedophilia Increases Within Its Ranks

LGBQT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer and Transgender) activism may have increased visibility and legal rights for gay people, but it has also caused an increase of pedophilia within the community itself. As more people become activists within the LGBQT community, more youth are at risk of becoming victims of sexual assault in their own homes; The FBI estimates that 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys are sexually assaulted by age 18.

What Is Pedophilia?

Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. It differs from child sexual abuse in that it is not necessarily accompanied by acting on those impulses.

Why Do So Many Members Of The LGBTQ Community Engage In Child Sexual Abuse?

In order to understand why so many members of the LGBTQ community engage in child sexual abuse, it's important to understand what pedophilia is. The term is used to describe a person who has a sexual interest in or a sexual contact with children. It is also called pedophilic disorder. A person with this disorder has intense, recurring fantasies, urges and behaviors that are typically much stronger than typical and involve children who are pre-pubescent. These fantasies can include having sex with them, touching them sexually, seeing them naked, having other people watch them have sex, being watched by others while having sex with someone else and more. They may act on these impulses through downloading child pornography online or molesting children. For example, one study found that over 20% of convicted child molesters self-identified as gay or bisexual. Furthermore, 60% of all adolescents reporting past year contact sexual violence were victimized by another youth aged 12 to 17 years old. And 40% reported some type of unwanted sexual contact at school during the previous six months. Further still, studies show that heterosexual students are five times more likely than gay students to commit homophobic bullying. All of these examples highlight an unfortunate truth: no matter which part of the LGBT community you belong to, you're at risk for becoming a pedophile because there are factors within our culture which increase its prevalence.

Why Does Nobody Care About This Problem?

Recently, there has been a sharp increase in the number of reported cases involving pedophilia and child molestation. However, what is not being addressed are the reasons behind this spike. One major cause is that people who are gay are more likely to abuse children. This could be due to an insecurity from their own childhood or because they were abused themselves. Either way, those who identify as lgbtq have an increased chance of being sexually attracted to children. With every new person coming out as gay or transgender, it increases the chance of another pedophile entering into these communities. It's really time we start discussing the dangers within the community before it's too late. The saddest thing about this epidemic is that so many cases go unreported. As the fight for equality continues, these things need to be acknowledged. If you know someone who identifies as lgbtq, please make sure to report any incidents you see with them around kids. We all deserve a future free from sexual abuse!

Who Are The Predators?

Pedophiles are defined as adults or older adolescents who have a sexual interest in prepubescent children. They may be attracted to both males and females, and they may act on their attraction in a variety of ways, from making sexually explicit comments to molesting a child. There's no single cause that leads people to become pedophiles, but there are some factors that make them more likely to offend against children. Some believe that it's caused by certain events during childhood, while others say it could be biological or environmental. Some offenders themselves claim they were abused when they were younger, which has led them to abuse others. Others say they feel inadequate around other adults, so they turn to young children instead. And then there are those who simply find children less threatening than other adults because they're less likely to retaliate against the offender. No matter what causes someone to go down this dark path, it can often lead into a lifelong pattern of sexual abuse.

What Does the Future Hold For Pedophiles In An Increasingly Pro-Gay Society?

If pedophiles are found to be more and more common in a society that is increasingly pro-gay, what does that mean for the future? What does it mean for children growing up in this culture? Will pedophilia be normalized like homosexuality has been? The answer is unclear. On one hand, by normalizing homosexuality, we have made it less stigmatized. And on the other hand, we can't ignore the fact that there are far more homosexuals who molest children than heterosexuals who do. So what does all of this say about the future of our kids? Who knows. One thing's for sure, though - we need to talk about these things with our children because they're going to be affected regardless.

How Can We Stop This Growing Trend?

Unfortunately, there is no definitive answer to this question. There are many potential causes for pedophilia, and we can only speculate as to why this trend has increased in recent years. It could be due to increased societal acceptance of the lgbtq community, or it could be that those who have a proclivity for pedophilia finally feel comfortable coming out of their closets. Whatever the cause may be, it is not something that society should turn a blind eye towards.

Final Thoughts

Studies show that pedophiles are more likely to be gay, lesbian, or bisexual. In fact, one study found that out of all incarcerated sex offenders, a disproportionate number (one-third) are gay or bisexual.

This is not to say that all homosexuals are pedophiles nor does it mean that all sexual predators abuse children because they're gay. What it does highlight is an undeniable link between homosexual attraction and pedophilia. The truth cannot be ignored no matter how many rainbow flags fly in our nation's capital on pride day.

Don't Blame White People For Slavery. Blame Big Business

Hello my friends, Yung Bizness back at ya.  I like to run ideas in my mind and one such great idea was, "Slavery" and the "why" of it.  I believe if you do not learn from history you will be doomed to repeat it.  Shit we are doomed America.  I see many people per day via the business I have.  Most of the people I do encounter are poorer people, blacks and whites.  I time to time try to put myself in other peoples position to understand their "why". Why are the in the situation that they are in.  Also, what if they lived in a different time in history would they be in the same position.  I look at a poor white person and ask myself, "would this person owned a slave if this was 400 years ago"?  I also question why do we blame all white people for slavery and if I were alive during slavery would I even want or could afford a slave?

Now lets breakdown slaving using a movie most of us seen, "Django".  The two characters I would like to look at is Calvin Candie played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Billy Crash played by Walton Goggins

Calvin Candie was a rich business man that owned slaves.  Slaves were unpaid employees; cooks, maids, fieldworkers, fighters etc.
